Origins of the Green Line: A Media Archeology (2015)

This collage features archival images depicting the Mount Lebanon massacres in 1860 and the humanitarian French military intervention that followed. The work sheds light on the nineteenth century origins of the Green Line and engages with photography’s potential for representing the pain of others, and for promoting human rights. Painting's canvas text
