In this video, the artist walks along blighted sections of the former Green Line, asking nearby inhabitants if they are aware of any abduction incidents that took place during the wars in Lebanon. Joreige uses archival photographs depicting area checkpoints to trigger the memories of her skeptical interviewees, who emerge as living ruins of war. |
